Revelation Thirteen
Revelation 13:1And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. 2And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 3And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. 4And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? 5And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. 6And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

Definition: the earth, soil, land, region, country, inhabitants of a region.
The seven heads and ten horns will be further explained in Revelation seventeen.
John and Daniel both wrote about a beast or beasts rising out of the sea. Daniel wrote about four beasts having seven heads and ten horns plus another little horn (Daniel 7). John wrote about a beast having seven heads and ten horns. They're different but they both are the same message but even before them Hosea wrote about a lion, leopard, a bear or the wild beast. (Hosea 13:4-8).
The focus of my writing is John's beast but I will use verses from Daniel and Hosea and others if applicable. John's beast has seven heads and these heads are both mountains / kingdoms and kings / leaders. It's the seventh of these kings / leaders who will become the false messiah. (Revelation 17:9-11) The dragon / devil will give him his power, his seat, and great authority. The leader will die and when he dies the devil will give power to Apollyon (Revelation 9:1-12) to enter his body and to continue for forty-two more months and the land / region will be astonished when they see this leader return to life and they will believe him to be their messiah. Though this is the rider on the white horse from the first seal.
(These events occurs after seals one through four and during the fifth seal and trumpet.)
The prophecy about the leopard, bear and lion or the wild beast has been foretold for over twenty-five hundred years. Israel was/is to have no other gods but God. He provided for them and they had everything. In their comfort they turned from God and worshiped others but whenever things went bad for them they would return to Him. (The tribulation will end this once and for all!)
Hosea 13:4Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me. 5I did know thee in the wilderness, in the land of great drought. 6According to their pasture, so were they filled; they were filled, and their heart was exalted; therefore have they forgotten me. 7Therefore I will be unto them as a lion: as a leopard by the way will I observe them: 8I will meet them as a bear that is bereaved of her whelps, and will rend the caul of their heart, and there will I devour them like a lion: the wild beast shall tear them.
(The lion is ferocious. The leopard is fast. The bear is strong.)
As the Assyrian was a tool used to punish Israel so will be the beast and the ten horns.
Isaiah 10:5O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation. 6I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.
The beast and ten horns will be the final tool used to fulfill His word on them.
Revelation 17:17For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
Who is able to make war with him?
I believe the USA will suffer a defeat or they simply won't get involved. Also, I don't believe in the beginning it will be difficult to gain control over Israel or its land. There's millions of Palestinians literally in walking distance. It will most likely be similar to a civil war. However it's done God will have the needed leaders in place so His word may be fulfilled.
Daniel 2:20Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: 21And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:
Daniel 4:17This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.
In Revelation the beast will be a military man at first- the bow, he will be crowned and then he will go forth conquering.
Revelation 6:2And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

Definition: I conquer, am victorious, overcome, prevail, subdue.
The little horn in Daniel is the beast of Revelation and he will speak against the Most High and will subdue three kings.
Daniel 7:8I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
Daniel 7:20And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.
Daniel 7:24And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. 25And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
(A time = one year, times = two years, and the dividing of time = half a year totaling forty-two months)
(Subdue: humble or bring under control.)

Short Definition: humbled
In Revelation 17, at the ending of the tribulation, there will still be ten kings so I don't believe he totally uproots these three leaders / kings. He will however bring them under his control and take over all or parts of their land. I believe these three will be the kings / leaders of Lebanon, Jordan and Syria and I think this will be the false messiah (christ) pretending to establish the kingdom of God to Israel.
Acts 1:6When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 7And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
Zechariah chapter ten is about the millennium- God on Earth and bringing Israel home. (Revelation 20-1-6) Then Zechariah 11:1-9 is a prophecy about Lebanon, Jordan and Bashan in Syria falling. The original kingdom of Israel occupied parts of these territories and before the kingdom can be fully restored to Israel something must happen to these territories.
Zechariah 11:1Open thy doors, O Lebanon, that the fire may devour thy cedars. 2Howl, fir tree; for the cedar is fallen; because the mighty are spoiled: howl, O ye oaks of Bashan; for the forest of the vintage is come down. 3There is a voice of the howling of the shepherds; for their glory is spoiled: a voice of the roaring of young lions; for the pride of Jordan is spoiled.
The shepherds are those nations who have had dominion and who have watched over Israel; the Assyrians, the Babylonians, the Romans etc. but at the end it will be the ten horns and three of them, Lebanon, Jordan and Syria will be subdued. There takeover will further convince Israel this pretender is there messiah. (christ).
John 5:43I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
2 Thessalonians 2:3Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. 5Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. 7For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

As you read above in Daniel and now here the saints are given unto him and they will be killed. They are literally being spared from the affliction to come but the unbelieving seed will worship the false messiah and have no peace nor rest.
Isaiah 57:1The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come. 2He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness. 3But draw near hither, ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the whore.
(The seed of the whore see Revelation 17-18.)

Isaiah 57:1The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. 2Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death. 3“But you--come here, you children of a sorceress, you offspring of adulterers and prostitutes!
Revelation 14:9And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
Revelation 13 cont'd
Revelation 13:9If any man have an ear, let him hear. 10He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
It is prophesied in Zechariah half of the city will be taken captive.
Zechariah 14:1Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. 2For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
The above 'he that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword' though slightly different was spoken by God to Jeremiah regarding the Babylonian captivity.
Jeremiah 15:2And it shall come to pass, if they say unto thee, Whither shall we go forth? then thou shalt tell them, Thus saith the LORD; Such as are for death, to death; and such as are for the sword, to the sword; and such as are for the famine, to the famine; and such as are for the captivity, to the captivity.
(Whoever goes into captivity shall go into captivity etc.- whatever is meant to be will be.)
Jeremiah 43:11And when he cometh, he shall smite the land of Egypt, and deliver such as are for death to death; and such as are for captivity to captivity; and such as are for the sword to the sword.
It's slightly different in Revelation because it's only a message for Christians- 'if any man have an ear let him hear' and 'here is the patience and the faith of the saints'
(Jeremiah 6:10To whom shall I speak, and give warning, that they may hear? behold, their ear is uncircumcised, and they cannot hearken: behold, the word of the LORD is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it)
The 'he that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity' 'he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword' 'Here is the patience and the faith of the saints' isn't so much of a warning but it's a message of hope to believers- Jesus will be returning soon and the devil, the leader of the rebellion, the one who brought the sword upon them will be bound and captive for a thousand years and Jesus with the Sword of His mouth will end the beast, the false prophet, and their armies.
Revelation 1:16And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
Revelation 19:15And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
Revelation 19:20And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
Revelation 20:1And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 3And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
The sword will be upon the arm and right eye of the idol shepherd.
Zechariah 11:16For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces. 17Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.
The sword will be upon his arm an it will be clean dried up; meaning his strength / his power will be taken.
Jeremiah 48:25The horn of Moab is cut off, and his arm is broken, saith the Lord
Ezekiel 30:21Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed, to put a roller to bind it, to make it strong to hold the sword.
(See writings about the arm or power of the True Messiah in Isaiah 30:30, Isaiah 33:2O, Isaiah 40:10, Isaiah 51:5, Isaiah 52:10, Isaiah 62:8, Isaiah 63:12, Jeremiah 21:5, Jeremiah 27:5, Jeremiah 32:17 and Ezekiel 20:33-34.)
The sword shall be upon his right eye and it shall be utterly darkened meaning he will be a utter disgrace / shame.
1 Samuel 11:1Then Nahash the Ammonite came up, and encamped against Jabeshgilead: and all the men of Jabesh said unto Nahash, Make a covenant with us, and we will serve thee. 2And Nahash the Ammonite answered them, On this condition will I make a covenant with you, that I may thrust out all your right eyes, and lay it for a reproach upon all Israel.
The sword will be upon the false messiah. Jesus will show His might, set Himself apart and declare Himself among the nations.
Ezekiel 38:21And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother. 22And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. 23Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.

Revelation 13 cont'd
Revelation 13:11And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. 12And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, 14And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 15And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
The beast/ false messiah, comes from the sea (outside of Israel) and the false prophet will come from the land / region of Israel.
The earth Greek gēs verses 11,14 & 14 and gēn verses 12 & 13
From gé
Definition: the earth, soil, land
Definition: the earth, soil, land, region, country, inhabitants of a region.
Here again are the Greek words gés and gen from gé both translated the earth but again this is not a worldwide event. The image will be in the land / region of Palestine.
Verse twelve- 'and he causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, verse fourteen- 'saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast and verse fifteen- 'and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.'
Those living in the land or region at that time will make the image and worship it.
The image is given life.
The Greek word pneuma translated life is used one-hundred and sixty times in the King James Bible. Every time it's used it's translated with the word spirit or ghost in it except here and John 3:8 where it's translated the wind. It's used for God's Spirit, the Ghost in Holy Ghost, and even for unclean spirits. So when the image is given 'life' it must be some spirit entering the image or how else could cause could it speak and cause people to be killed?
The false prophet
The false prophet is portrayed as a lamb with two horns as all lambs should have. John makes no reference to the horns I believe showing us this lamb, the false prophet, will be a ordinary person. (The beast will be a fallen angel.)
Jesus, the Lamb of God, has seven horns.
Revelation 5:6And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
He is a lamb so therefore he will appear to be no threat but he will speak as a dragon- his words will be against God. The false prophet will have and use the same power as the beast / false messiah (christ). It's the dragon's / devil's power and the false prophet will use it in the presence of the first beast. These powers will cause the people of the land / region to worship the false messiah (christ) whose deadly wound was healed. The power will be used to do wonders and in the people's presence he will bring fire down from heaven onto the land. The miracles that the false prophet will perform, in the false messiah's presence, will deceive the people and he will tell the people of the land / region to make an image of the false messiah which had the deadly wound but lives again. The false prophet will use the power given to him to give 'life' unto the image. The image will speak and if the people don't worship it the image will cause them to be killed.
Isaiah 66:4I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.
Matthew 24:24For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25Behold, I have told you before.
2 Thessalonians 2:Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
Revelation 13 cont'd- the mark
Revelation 13:16And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
A mark Greek charagma
Short Definition: sculpture, a stamp, sign
Definition: sculpture; engraving, a stamp, sign
In Greek epi
Short Definition: on, to, against, on the basis of, at
Definition: on, to, against, on the basis of, at.
The mark
It will be some type of stamped or engraved memento dedicated to the false messiah. It will be his mark with his name and/or number on it and maybe even a picture of him. I believe it will be on the currency and I also believe they will have to give him some homage by wearing something on their arm and on their forehead.
There are Jews today which practice such things which the false prophet could easily turn into worship for the false messiah.

Tefillin (Askhenazic: /ˈtfɪlᵻn/; Israeli Hebrew: [tfiˈlin], תפילין), also called phylacteries (/fɪˈlæktəriːz/ from Ancient Greek φυλακτήριον phylacterion, form of phylássein, φυλάσσειν meaning "to guard, protect"), are a set of small black leather boxes containing scrolls of parchment inscribed with verses from the Torah. They are worn by male observant Jews during weekday morning prayers.
The arm-tefillin, or shel yad, is placed on the upper arm, and the strap wrapped around the arm/hand, hand and fingers; while the head-tefillin, or shel rosh, is placed above the forehead. The Torah commands that they should be worn to serve as a "sign" and "remembrance" that God brought the children of Israel out of Egypt.
The scriptural texts for tefillin are obscure in literal meaning. For example, Deuteronomy 11:18 is one of the standard texts referenced as supporting the obligation, but does not designate what specifically to "bind upon your arm," and the definition of totafot between your eyes is not obvious. It is the Talmud, the authoritative oral tradition for Rabbinic Judaism, which explains what are to be bound to the body and the form of tefillin.
Deuteronomy 6:4Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: 5And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. 6And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: 7And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. 8And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. 9And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.
Deuteronomy 11:18Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.
Revelation 13 cont'd; the number of the beast
Revelation 13:18Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
It's count the number.
If this helps anyone- I know it's 666 but for some reason I can not explain I counted it as 6 x 60 x 6 equaling 2160.
Revelation Fourteen
Revelation 14- Jesus on earth, the 144,000 and the first resurrected
Revelation 14:1And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. 2And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: 3And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. 4These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. 5And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God. 6And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, 7Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. 8And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

(see Revelation 20:1-6)
Verse 3- 'and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps' are at some of the first resurrected saints.
Revelation 15:2And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. 3And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. 4Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

Zephaniah 3:14Sing, O daughter of Zion; shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem. 15The LORD hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even the LORD, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more. 16In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let not thine hands be slack. 17The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.
When Jesus returns His elect Israel are safe and the surviving remnant receive the Sprit.
Isaiah 35:4Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you. 5Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
Hosea 2:16And it shall be at that day, saith the LORD, that thou shalt call me Ishi; and shalt call me no more Baali. 17For I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth, and they shall no more be remembered by their name. 18And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely. 19And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies. 20I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the LORD.
Ezekiel 11:19And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: 20That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
Zechariah 9:15The LORD of hosts shall defend them; and they shall devour, and subdue with sling stones; and they shall drink, and make a noise as through wine; and they shall be filled like bowls, and as the corners of the altar. 16And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his land. 17For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! corn shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids.
Zechariah 12:9And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.10And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
The kingdom is restored
Isaiah 1:24Therefore saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies: 25And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin: 26And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellers as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city. 27Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.
Isaiah 2:2And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. 3And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
The kingdom will expand into the nation's cities. (All the land promised to Abraham will be the kingdom.)
Isaiah 54:1Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD. 2Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; 3For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
Jesus is the Stone on which the kingdom will be established
Daniel 2:31Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible. 32This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, 33His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. 34Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. 35Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.
(The feet are the ten horns on the beast see Revelation 17:12.)
Daniel 2:44And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms , and it shall stand for ever.
The 144,000 are the firstfruits from Jerusalem or the land of Israel- modern day Judaea. They fled to the mountains/ wilderness where they escaped the wrath. (See Revelation 12:6 & Revelation 12:14.). They are on the mountain and stand before the Lord and now with His return and the kingdom being restored, the 144,000 as John the Baptist did, will proclaim the Messiah and they will be God's messengers to Israel's remaining seed. It will be them who will spread the kingdom of heaven gospel.
Isaiah 4:2In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel. 3And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem: 4When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.
Isaiah 10:20And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel, and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon him that smote them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, in truth. 21The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty God. 22For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness. 23For the Lord GOD of hosts shall make a consumption, even determined, in the midst of all the land.
(Consumption/ destruction) (Stay/ lean on)
Jeremiah 31:1At the same time, saith the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people. 2Thus saith the LORD, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.
Luke 21:36Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Matthew 24:14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Isaiah 12:1And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me. 2Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. 3Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. 4And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.
Isaiah 40:1Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. 2Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD'S hand double for all her sins. 3The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
Isaiah 40:9O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God!
Isaiah 43:6I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth; 7Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him. 8Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears. 9Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, It is truth. 10Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. 11I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. 12I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when there was no strange god among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I am God.
Isaiah 52:7How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth! 8Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion. 9Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem. 10The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.
Zechariah 8:23Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.
Revelation 14:7- 'Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters' is the voice as of many waters and the voice as a great thunder from verse two and Jesus (God) who created everything (John 1:1-13) is now on the earth and He (God) will be given fear, glory, and will be worshipped. (Jesus and the Father are one but now Jesus will be receiving praise from Israel.)
Revelation 14:8 makes more sense in the New International version.
Revelation 14:8A second angel followed and said, “ ‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great,’ which made all the nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries.”
Because of her fornication God made Israel and her neighbors drunken and mad- see Jeremiah 25:18-26 for the list of peoples who drank the wine cup.
Jeremiah 25:15 For thus saith the LORD God of Israel unto me; Take the wine cup of this fury at my hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send thee, to drink it. 16 And they shall drink, and be moved, and be mad, because of the sword that I will send among them. 17 Then took I the cup at the LORD'S hand, and made all the nations to drink, unto whom the LORD had sent me:
It will be Jerusalem's, Mystery Babylon the Great's, neighbors, who she followed and committed 'fornication' with, who will destroy Her and the city. (See Revelation 17-18). They were blinded by God because of Israel's fornications and they believe the land of Israel belongs to them.
Ezekiel 16:37Behold, therefore I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou hast taken pleasure, and all them that thou hast loved, with all them that thou hast hated; I will even gather them round about against thee, and will discover thy nakedness unto them, that they may see all thy nakedness.
Her fornication leads to their downfall.
Jeremiah 25:27 Therefore thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Drink ye, and be drunken, and spue, and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you.
Revelation 14 cont'd- warnings and hope (Again Revelation 14 is not in order.)
12Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Those that worship the false messiah (christ) will be the final one third of Israel killed.
(The first one third killed see Revelation 6:7-8.)
The actual smoke of their torment doesn't rise for ever and ever. (The new heaven and earth will come 1000 years after these events.) However, maybe the memory of God's victory will be remembered for ever and ever.
Jerusalem will drink of the cup of the wrath first and then the nations who afflicted her will drink of it next.
Isaiah 51:17Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, which hast drunk at the hand of the LORD the cup of his fury; thou hast drunken the dregs of the cup of trembling, and wrung them out. 18There is none to guide her among all the sons whom she hath brought forth; neither is there any that taketh her by the hand of all the sons that she hath brought up. 19These two things are come unto thee; who shall be sorry for thee? desolation, and destruction, and the famine, and the sword: by whom shall I comfort thee? 20 Thy sons have fainted, they lie at the head of all the streets, as a wild bull in a net: they are full of the fury of the LORD, the rebuke of thy God. 21 Therefore hear now this, thou afflicted, and drunken, but not with wine: 22 Thus saith thy Lord the LORD, and thy God that pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again: 23 But I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee; which have said to thy soul, Bow down, that we may go over: and thou hast laid thy body as the ground, and as the street, to them that went over.
(The nations drink the wrath below at the ending of Revelation 14- the treading of the winepress.)
Revelation 14:1-8- Jesus returned, the everlasting gospel is to be preached, the hour of His judgment has come and the nations fell.
Revelation 14:9-11 is a warning to those who worship the false messiah (christ). Revelation 14:12- 'here is the patience of the saints: her are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus' is another message of hope as Revelation 13:9-11 was and those who don't worship the beast / false messiah (christ) and the first resurrected saints will dwell in the kingdom promised to them.
Revelation 14 cont'd- the gospel of the kingdom of heaven.
Revelation 14:13And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
This is really a message to the new coverts who will hear the gospel during Christ's reign.

Revelation 14 cont'd- the first resurrection and the treading of the winepress
Revelation 14:14And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. 15And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. 16And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped. 17And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. 18And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. 19And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. 20And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
The earth and the earth Greek gēs, gēn, gē, gēs, gēn and gēs

Revelation 14:14-20 occur before Revelation 14:1-8 where Jesus is on the mountain.
Here in Revelation 14:14-20 Jesus, the Son of man, is on a cloud- He is in heaven. On His head a single crown- the nations have not yet fall. Once the nations fall He has many crowns (Revelation 19:12) because He will be ruling them.
An angel cries to Jesus telling Him the harvest of the earth is ripe- is ripe is exēranthē from xérainó: to dry up, waste away. Jesus is not harvesting the inhabitants of the region; it's the angels that will gather the dried up, wasted away, inhabitants of the region. Jesus from heaven will reap / gather / harvest the first resurrected saints.
The next angel comes out of heaven having a sharp sickle. Then another angel came out from the alter and cried to the other angel telling him to gather the vine of the region because they're fully ripe / dried up / wasted away. The other angel with his sharp sickle gathered the dried up / wasted away inhabitants of the region and cast them into the winepress. It's Jesus who then treads the winepress. (Revelation 19:11-21)
The blood came out of the winepress up to the horse bridles- the horses are the sixth seal (Revelation 9:13-19) and they're also the armies of the sixth vial. (Revelation 16:12-13). The treading of the winepress occurs with the seventh vial (Revelation 16:17-21). The treading of the winepress is the nations falling and it's also the fulfillment of the Lamb's wrath.
Joel 3:9Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up: 10Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong 11Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD. 12Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about. 13Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great. 14Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision. 15The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.
Isaiah 63:1Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save. 2Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat? 3I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment. 4For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come. 5And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me. 6And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.
Revelation fifteen
The sign of the Son of man
Revelation 15:1 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God. 2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. 3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. 4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest. 5 And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened: 6 And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles. 7 And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever. 8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.
Is filled up is in the aorist tense and should read for in them the wrath of God was finished.
The wrath and of the wrath are from the Greek word thumos and it is not the final wrath, Greek orgé, of God. This is the end of the wrath of the Lamb. God's final orgé will be completed on the day of judgment.
Berean Literal Bible
Revelation 15:1 And I saw another great and wonderful sign in heaven: seven angels, having seven plagues--the last, because in them the wrath of God was completed.
Young's Literal Translation
Revelation 15:1 And I saw another sign in the heaven, great and wonderful, seven messengers having the seven last plagues, because in these was completed the wrath of God,
In verse 5, 'And after that I looked', the after is the Greek word meta and is used 19 times in Revelation and 8 of its uses are translated with and Here it too should have been translated with. (And with that I looked.)
This chapter is as chapter fourteen was- it isn't in order. In Revelation 15:1 the angels have the vials but one verse later in 15:2 those who did not worship the beast and who have died for God are standing on the sea of glass in heaven. They're standing on the sea of glass which means that the vials of wrath have already been poured because verse 8 reads that no man was able to enter the temple til the plagues have been fulfilled. So if they're before the throne, in the temple, in heaven, the plagues have already been poured.
(The sea of glass and the temple are in heaven- Revelation 4:6And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. and Revelation 16:17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.)
The great and marvelous sign John was not 'seven angels having the seven last plagues' because they were already poured. The great and marvelous sign John saw was the martyred saints in heaven- the first resurrection- the sign of the Son of Man.
Matthew 24:29Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken : 30And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mourn Greek kopsontai
From kóptō – properly, to cut; be incised (struck), resulting in severance ("being cut off"); (figuratively) to mourn (lament) with a cutting sense of personal, tragic loss, i.e. "cut to the heart."
The first resurrection in Revelation 11:3-12, the two witnesses killed by the beast and resurrected, will be the sign of Jesus Himself overcoming death and the sign of His return. Those Israelites who worshipped the beast will fear and mourn because they will know that they were wrong and it will be too late for them and they will be killed off.
Revelation 11:11And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. 12And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
Isaiah 65:14Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit. 15And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord GOD shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name:
(The first resurrection also in Revelation 20:1-6 and my Revelation 11:11-12.)
Verses 2 & 3- 'having the harps of God' - 'And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb' are some of the resurrected saints and are before the throne singing when the Lamb, Jesus, is on the earth. (Revelation 14:1-3)
Revelation 15:4- 'for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest'
Jesus will be on earth soon; His judgments, the vials of wrath, have been made known- poured (Revelation 16) and the nations will go worship Him.

Isaiah 2:2And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.3And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Jeremiah 3:17At that time they shall call Jerusalem the throne of the LORD; and all the nations shall be gathered unto it, to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem: neither shall they walk any more after the imagination of their evil heart.
Zechariah 8:20Thus saith the LORD of hosts; It shall yet come to pass, that there shall come people, and the inhabitants of many cities: 21And the inhabitants of one city shall go to another, saying, Let us go speedily to pray before the LORD, and to seek the LORD of hosts: I will go also. 22Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the LORD. 23Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.
Zechariah 14:16And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
Chapter Sixteen
The vials of wrath
Revelation 16:1And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
The earth Greek gén (Gēn also in verse two- gēs in verse eighteen.)
From gé
Short Definition: the earth, soil, land
Definition: the earth, soil, land, region, country, inhabitants of a region.
These vials will be the last wounds (punishments / judgments) on Jerusalem and will lead to the return of Jesus. (The end of the Lamb's wrath.)
Revelation 21:9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.
Plagues (the vials) is from the Greek word plégé: a blow, wound.

They shall know He is LORD- Jesus is LORD!
Revelation cont'd- the first vial
Revelation 16:2And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
(The earth Greek gēs the land /region/ inhabitants of a region see verse one.)
The second vial
Revelation 16:3And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.The third vial Revelation 16:4And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. 5And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. 6For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. 7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.
Ezekiel 16:38And I will judge thee, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will give thee blood in fury and jealousy.
The fourth seal
Revelation 16:8And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. 9And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
(Isaiah 30:26 Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound.
The return of Jesus is three quick seals away. 5th- The beast's kingdom, those who follow him, suffer because of their spiritual darkness. ('Blasphemed the God of heaven.... and they repented not.') 6th- The river is dried up preparing the way for the ten horns and Armageddon. 7- (It's done.) Jesus returns, destroys the ten horns, saves His seed and sets up His kingdom.)
The fifth vial
Revelation 16:10And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, 11And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds
The sixth vial
Revelation 16:12And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. 13And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. 15Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. 16And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
The frogs / spirits come out of their mouths is the flood in Revelation 12:15.
They will kill the final one third. (Two thirds will be cut off and die see Revelation 6:7-8)
The events of the fifth and sixth vials and the seventh vial below are found in Revelation 9:13-21, Revelation 11:11-14, Revelation 12:13-17, Revelation 17:12-18 and Revelation 19:11-21)
The seventh vial
Revelation 16:17And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. 18And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. 19And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. 20And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. 21And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
Voices, thunders, lightnings and a great earthquake' is the beginning of the judgment of the seventh vial. Major judgments begin or end with voices, thunderings…. or something similar. (See Revelation 8:5 and Revelation 11:19.)
The vial is poured into the air- the devil's power is over.
Ephesians 2:2Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
(The devil is cast into the bottomless pit for 1000 years see Revelation 20:1-3)
Verse 17- "It is done"- the Lamb's wrath is accomplished.
Jeremiah 30:24The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have done it, and until he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it.
Isaiah 30:30 And the LORD shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.
Isaiah 29:6 Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.
(NIV- The LORD Almighty will come with thunder....)
(It will be the sixth vial armies and the sixth trumpet 'horses' that will fulfill His anger on Israel.) (Revelation 9:13-21, 14:9-12 & 17-18) (The closed ('rolled together') scroll- Revelation 6:14.)
Verse 19- 'and the cities of the nations fell'- the cities are the heads of nations and after 'great Babylon' receives the cup of wrath the armies that were gathered will be destroyed. The nations will lose all their power and authority and God's kingdom will come. It's the treading of the winepress. (Revelation 14:17-20)
(Isaiah 7:8For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people. 9And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah's son. If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established.)
Isaiah 51:22Thus saith thy Lord the LORD, and thy God that pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again: 23But I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee; which have said to thy soul, Bow down, that we may go over: and thou hast laid thy body as the ground, and as the street, to them that went over.
Isaiah 34:1Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it. 2For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter. 3Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood. 4And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree. 5For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment. 6The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea. 7And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness. 8For it is the day of the LORD'S vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.
Zechariah 12:9And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
Luke 21:24And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
Matthew 6:10Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Verese 20- 'Every island fled away and the mountains were not found.'
Fled away from the Greek word pheugo {fyoo'-go} apparently a primary verb; to run away (literally or figuratively); by implication, to shun; by analogy, to vanish: -- escape, flee (away).
Found from tie Greek word heuriskó: to find.
The islands fled away = The coastlands escaped (see my Revelation 6:12-17- 'the islands moved.') and the mountains were not found = Those in the mountains were not found.
This will be the people of the coastlands and the 144,000 in the mountains who escape the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath- the sixth trumpet. It's only for those who worship the beast who receive it. (Revelation 9:13-21 & 14:9-12.)
Hail....
Psalms 148:8 Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word:
Isaiah 29:6Thou shalt be visited of the LORD of hosts with thunder, and with earthquake, and great noise, with storm and tempest, and the flame of devouring fire.
(The fire here is the sixth trumpet. God's judgment and punishment on the seed of the whore- 'Great Babylon' or 'Mystery Babylon' (Jerusalem). (Again Revelation 9:13-21, 14:9-12 & Revelation 17-18.)
